Worked for Shelf

Only thing helped me prepare for the shelf, I learn by doing questions so this was a good resource for me. The neurology shelf is one the hardest in my opinion and I feel pretest does a good job mimicking the difficulty level of the shelf.

Good book, but a little disappointed w/ kindle version.

Definitely a good book with good questions. They are slightly easier than other sources I've used, but helpful and a good review nonetheless.
However, I was disappointed with the Kindle formatting. After reading the other reviews regarding the ability to immediately see the answer after the question, I decided it was a great option as that was my issue with the hard copy. But, when I click the answer - unless I cover the bottom half of my ipad/kindle/laptop/etc, I will see the answer to the next question in my peripheral vision. That makes it basically equivalent to the hard copy where I would keep a bookmark on the answer page and use a sheet of paper to cover the answers to the other questions. Maybe the app for pre-test would let me do one question at a time without being able to peek at the next ones?
Therefore, if you like having a physical copy in your hands, go for it. In my opinion the kindle version is only slightly (if any) more convenient.

Great number of questions and wide range. Sometimes too detail for shelf exam. Recommend buying this book for review and practice
